Notifications about new and changed activities

When you add or change activities or materials in a Moodle course, you enter the setup of the selected activity. This is where you, amongst other things, can write or change the name of the activity/material.
It is now possible to send the participants in the course a notification that an activity/material has been added or changed.

- Go to the bottom of the page, just above the Save and show button
- Enable the Send a message about changes in content button (1) to send message to the course participants.
- Save the changes
NOTE: Be aware that this does not mean that a message is sent to the course participants when you use the activity/material, such as putting new files into a folder.
The function Send notification of change of content can be used, for example, if the dates of a delivery are changed.
