Panopto is a video platform with a built-in recording program. Panopto is available to all staff and students at AAU. With Panopto you can record and distribute videos, and via the plug-in in Moodle, you can easily attach your videos to your courses.

Panopto is a video platform with a built-in recording program. Panopto is available to all staff and students at AAU. With Panopto you can record and distribute videos, and via the plug-in in Moodle, you can easily attach your videos to your courses.

A recording in Panopto is visible for 6 years, and is then automatically made invisible for 1 year before being deleted. Video in personal folders will be saved as long as the username is active.

How to install Panopto

  • Access the website https://Panopto.aau.dk
  • Log in with your AAU username and password
  • Click on Create in the top left corner and then proceed to click Panopto for Windows
  • Next, click on Download Panopto and an installation file will be downloaded to your PC.
