If you already know your password, you can change it by logging on to our Webmail. 

• Log into webmail.aau.dk with your AAU-Username and password
• Authenticate using your multi-factor authentication
• Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner
• Choose Settings 
• Click on General 
• Choose My Account 
• Click Change my password 
• Fulfill your information and click Save 

You can change your password by going to nyadgangskode.aau.dk/new-password and logging in with your NemID or MitID. 

• Click the Windows icon
• Search for Configure login with PIN
• Select PIN (Windows Hello)
• Click the Change PIN button next to Change your PIN
• Fill in information (Current pin and then the new one)
• Click OK

Your PIN should therefore have been changed. Lock your computer (Windows icon + L) and you should be able to try your new PIN.

If you are on the login screen and have forgotten your PIN, you can do the following:

• Click Settings for Logon
• Click on the key
• This gives you the opportunity to login with your AAU password

• Click the Windows icon
• Search for Configure login with PIN
• Select PIN (Windows Hello)
• Click I forgot my PIN
• Follow the instructions on the screen

If you do not have NemID or MitID you can get help to change your password by personally showing up at one of our local service desks.

In order for us to be able to help you change your password, you will need to bring:

• Your AAU-Username or AAU-Mail
• Valid photo identification 

If your chosen password is rejected, it is because your password does not comply with the AAU password policy. It is your responsibility that your password complies with the password policy - View AAU's password policy here
